It is hard to know how to help a loved one who finds out they have cancer. This care package is thoughtful and useful for anyone battling cancer. It includes a reversible tote bag, Port Pillow, Forehead Heating/Cooling Pack and a set of 2 Hand heating/cooling packs. The tote is handy to take to the doctor or chemo treatments to carry everything you need. The port pillow will provide cushioning where the seat belt puts pressure on the port or mastectomy incisions. The Forehead Heating and cooling back can help ease headaches and the Hand Warmers can help keep the chills away.

The Heating/Cooling Packs are filled with a mixture of Rice and Flaxseed. The packs can be placed in the microwave and heated in 30 second intervals until they reach your preferred temperature. Be careful when removing them from the microwave to ensure they are not too hot to touch. They can also be stored in the freezer and used as an ice pack. The Forehead Pack is perfect for your forehead or eyes to help ease your headaches or tension and you can keep the Hand Warmers in your pockets for a chilly day or tuck them into your socks for toasty feet. These are not medical devices. They are for comfort only.

-Reusable Hand Warmers- set of 2, each measures 4" x 4"

The port is made of cotton fabric and attaches to the seat belt with hook and loop tape (Velcro) with the cushion side facing the chest (see photo). The port pillow is not a safety device. It only provides cushioning for comfort.

All items are handmade by me. There may be slight variations in stitching due to the nature of being handmade. The tote bag and port pillow are machine washable and dry able. The Heating/Cooling packs can be spot cleaned by hand.
